Employee Spotlight: Brittani Wallen

Brittani is a Retail Property Manager with Lewis. She enjoys traveling, being outside, spoiling her dog, and spending time with family & friends.

⭐What drew you to working at Lewis?
Lewis has always had a wonderful reputation in the area, and that truly stood out to me. Being a family-owned company with strong values and a commitment to excellence made it even more appealing. I was drawn to the culture, the people, and the opportunity to grow within a company that genuinely cares about its team members and the communities we serve.

⭐What has your career path looked like?
Most of my career with Lewis has been in Residential Property Management. I started with Lewis over 12 years ago as a Leasing Consultant. I then took on roles as a Leasing Manager, Community Administrator, Assistant Community Director, and eventually Community Director. This year, I transitioned to the Commercial Department as a Retail Property Manager. It’s been an exciting new chapter, and I’m loving the experience so far.

⭐How do you stay busy outside of the office?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our (very spoiled) dog, and our wonderful family and friends. We love to stay active and spend time outdoors—camping, boating, country concerts, and traveling are just a few of our favorite things to do together. Summer is definitely my favorite time of the year!

⭐How do you stay motivated?
I stay motivated by focusing on the bigger picture and remembering why I do what I do. I find a lot of inspiration in working with a great team, achieving goals, and continuously learning and growing. Seeing the positive impact we can make, both within the company and in the communities we serve, keeps me energized and excited.

⭐What values guide your career and life path?
Faith, integrity, accountability, and kindness are some of values I strive to live by every day. I believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, and treating others with kindness, respect, and empathy. These values have helped guide both my personal and professional journey.
