Lewis Retail Centers Team Member Inspires Students Through Real Teens Real Talk

Lewis Retail Centers is proud to support programs that empower and inspire the next generation. Recently, Omar Martinez, Senior Project Manager at Lewis Retail Centers, spoke to students participating in the Real Teens Real Talk program hosted by the Orange County Family Justice Center Foundation.

Real Teens Real Talk is a youth program designed to help teens build confidence, develop life skills, and explore future educational and career opportunities. The program brings together community leaders and professionals who share their experiences and encourage students to think about their future paths.

During his presentation, Omar shared his personal journey, reflecting on his upbringing and how it shaped his path toward a successful career in construction and project management. By speaking candidly about the challenges he faced and the opportunities that education and determination can create, Omar encouraged students to consider the many possibilities available through careers in engineering and construction.

Omar also highlighted Town Center at The Preserve in Chino, a project he worked on that many of the students were already familiar with. Using a real-world example helped students see how development and construction projects come together to shape the communities around them.

Lewis Retail Centers is proud of team members like Omar who take time to give back and inspire future leaders.
