Fairview Plaza Nears Major Opening Milestone in Vallejo, CA Fairview Plaza continues to move forward in Vallejo, California, with several major construction milestones now complete as the center gets closer to welcoming its first customers. Costco is preparing for its November grand opening, work continues across Shops 1 and 2, and key infrastructure surrounding the project is now complete. Costco Prepares for November Grand Opening The Costco building structure is complete, and crews are preparing to stock and merchandise the warehouse ahead of the planned November grand opening. The Costco site is also substantially complete, including landscaping, parking areas, striping and asphalt. Before the warehouse officially opens, the Costco fuel station is currently slated for a soft opening at the end of October Shops 1 and 2 Continue to Take Shape Construction is also progressing across the future shop buildings at Fairview Plaza. Shops 1 is framed, with TPO roofing complete and standing seam roofing underway. MEP overhead work continues, and stucco work is expected to begin within the next few days. At Shops 2, framing is approximately 80% complete. Foundation and framing work will continue across the remaining portion of the building. Site Work Progresses Around the Shops Site work surrounding the shop buildings continues with concrete improvements underway and preparation for AC paving operations expected to begin next week. Foundation work for the EV chargers is complete, while landscaping continues throughout the project. Major Offsite Improvements Are Complete Several important infrastructure improvements surrounding Fairview Plaza have now been completed. The new bridge over the existing creek is complete, traffic signals are operational, and the widening of Admiral Callaghan Lane is finished. These improvements mark another significant step forward as Fairview Plaza prepares for Costco’s opening and the continued development of the rest of the shopping center. What’s Next at Fairview Plaza With Costco preparing for its November grand opening and the fuel station expected to soft open at the end of October, attention is increasingly shifting toward the next phase of Fairview Plaza.
